The Partnership recently worked with Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, local stakeholders and units of government to upgrade 3 subwatershed plans to meet the Section 319 grant program requirements for Lawrence, Upper Kishwaukee and Beaver Creek sub watersheds .

Belvidere Dam Fish Passage

Alternatives Analysis


In 2006 the Belvidere Park District applied for and received a Conservation 2000 grant to investigate fish passage alternatives at the Belvidere Dam.

The Partnership worked with Local governments, environmental groups and local residents to create a watershed plan using IEPA Section 319 grant funds on the heavily urbanized Madigan Creek watershed located in SE Rockford and Cherry Valley.  To View the Plan Click Here:
